Engineering Hub - Eng.ms The Stack Overflow at Microsoft (SO@MS) and SOAMSNotify services will no longer send email notifications as of November 21, 2025. This is due to the enhanced security that the Exchange Online Product Group is enabling by deprecating SMTP Basic Authentication. Currently, the Stack Overflow Enterprise product can only send mails using SMTP Basic Authentication methods and SOAMSNotify is being deprecated with the main service, so no work will be done to fix this issue.
